Vickery Village

I live right around the corner from the fabulous Vickery Village. It's filled with little shops, restaurants, beautiful architecture... and character everywhere you look! Last night Raleigh and I walked around up there and had a rare opportunity to just shoot for the fun of it!








I took some pictures of Raleigh exploring and then We stopped for Gelato...I'll post the rest of our pictures later! -M

It must be Summer Time :)

It's been so hot lately, already!!! We took Raleigh outside for her 1st popsicle...WOW what a mess!!!! She loved it though!!!

Daddy shared his with you too :)


When we were done she looked like a little vampire that had just finished feeding, haha!!! Love you baby girl! -M

Miss Raleigh

Tonight was a pretty summer evening...so I brought miss Raleigh out to grab some pictures!! Is she the cutest little lady you have ever seen, or what?!?!!!

Eli

As promised...here are some more pictures of the handsome Mr. Eli! When we could get his fist out of his mouth he shared his huge smile with us! He's the most laid back, easy going kid!!! I love it!!! Here are a few of my favorite shots!

Miss Aubrey Leigh

This weekend I had two 1 year-old shoots. This little lady is a friend of my daughter, Raleigh. She is throwing herself headfirst into being a toddler :)!!! She's incredibly expressive and independant and loves to explore! I had so much fun with her and her parents!!! These are just a couple of the many gorgeous pictures I took of Aubrey...have you seen those lips and the beautiful big blue eyes!!!!! I'll post some more soon, Melissa...enjoy these teasers!!! -M

Eli's Family

On Eli's 1st birthday his grandparents, aunts and uncles all came to celebrate with him!!! The day after his party I was able to take some pictures of him, his parents, his mom's parents and her siblings!!! I'm doing a full 1 year shoot with Eli and his parents next week...so there will be many more pictures of this handsome little guy...coming soon!!!

Krystle (& Madeline)

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing a gorgeous pregnant woman! She has just a few more weeks before meeting her baby girl, Madeline. I promised her a few teaser pictures...so here you go :)!!! Thank you so much Krystle, I had a fantastic time!! -M

Happy Birthday Raleigh!!!!

My baby girl is ONE today!! I can't believe how quickly it's gone by! A friend of ours made a beautiful slide show for her son through One True Media and after seeing it and crying...I knew i had to make one for Raleigh. It was so easy and what a treasure!!! I hope you enjoy!!!

Raleigh's 1st Birthday Party

My baby girl will be ONE on Monday...her birthday party was today and we had an absolutely amazing time! I'm exhausted, so I'm only going to post a couple pictures now...I'll load more later!

It could be the exhaustion or the emotion of the day, but this image really gets me...I feel like I froze this little moment and there she is passing right through it. She's growing up so quickly!

Friends

This afternoon I was outside playing with my new camera and lense (I'll post more about that later) and my neighbor Skylar came over to say hello! I grabbed some great shots of this very photogenic girl...then her friends came over to play and goodness....there was sassiness all over the place!!! Are the not the cutest!!! Playgroup

Raleigh and I are a part of the greatest playgroup! One of the moms hosted a wonderful Mother's Day Brunch for us...so I grab some pictures while I was there...Check out some of the cuties :)

I love her

I bought this super cute new rug this weekend...Raleigh absolutely loves playing with it. Have I mentioned how much I love this little munchkin?

Julian

This weekend I had the opportunity to meet little Julian! He is 3 weeks old and very alert! I was able to capture Jessica's maternity pictures a few weeks before this little guy arrived early! What a beautiful family! ~M

My New Props

My mother in law is a realtor. She called to tell me there were some little kids items left in the garage of one of the houses she was selling. I went over to take a look...and found these 2 fabulous chairs and a sofa...all kid sized!!!! So...it was time to do a little photo shoot to test them out!!
